The majority of the Municipality is serviced by the Whitehead Elton Regional Water Cooperative Inc. (WERWC) which distributes the water from a pumping station and reservoir located just east of the town of Alexander.
Water is tested bi-weekly for bacteria, which is reviewed by Manitoba Drinking Water Office. Should a test have unusual results, Office of Drinking Water and the Whitehead Elton Regional Water Co-operative Inc. are notified immediately to take required steps.
